Driving Directions to Irving Pass Trailhead (Trail #1545), eastbound from Stevens Pass:

Info from Summit Post-
1) From Stevens Pass, follow Highway 2 eastbound for 4.0 miles (approximately MilePost 68.6).
2) Turn left and cross the (divided) highway onto Forest Road 67 (FR-6700).
3) Follow FR-6700 for 12.6 miles to its end, at the intersection with FR-6500.
4) Turn left onto FR-6500.
5) After 2.3 miles, turn right onto an unpaved/ unmarked road. This is the beginning of FR-6504.*
6) Follow FR-6504 for 6.1 miles to the trailhead/ end of the road.
*NOTE: An alternate route to FR-6504 is to continue on FR-6500 for 3.8 miles beyond the first FR-6504 turnoff, to where the pavement ends, and then turn right onto an unpaved/ unmarked road. After 1.3 miles, the road meets FR-6504 at a “T” intersection. Turn left onto FR-6504 and follow 3.1 miles to the trailhead/ end of the road.

Info from WTA-
From Seattle: Drive east on Highway 2 to Stevens Pass, then go an additional 3.5 miles and make a left on Forest Road 6700 (signed for Smithbrook), just after the highway divides. Be cautious crossing the westbound lanes of Highway 2. Once on gravelled 6700, proceed 12.75 miles to a junction with 6500. Just before the junction, you cross a bridge over the Little Wenatchee River. Turn left, heading back to the west on paved Road 6500. Proceed 2.3 miles to an unmarked fork bearing up to the right. This is Road 6504. This road traverses up to the trailhead at a steady grade for 6.2 miles.

不確定實際長度,第一天會在Ridge沿Cockeye Drainage走到Cockeye扎營。
第二天爬上Ridge去Poe Mtn或再去Longfellow.

這張是根據上一張圖,在CalTopo抄錄,
除掉顏色(用US Forest Map), 方便印刷.
我會印刷這張給各位隊員.

如果用GPS, 可以用以下4個waypoints.

1. Trail Head 起點:  N47.8956  W121.0477
2. 由Trail Head 上到Ridge預備橫行:  N47.8999   W121.0330
3. Junction, 在Ridge橫越到小湖: N47.9096  W121.0549
4. 小湖的GPS location:  N47.9164   W121.0426
(MapSource 沒有小湖顯示).

無GPS也沒有問題, 實際路徑應該很清楚

I got some info from NW Hikers-

Leafguy
Plenty of good sites at Cockeye.

capbiker
Was up there on Monday. Don't know about the fishing, but the colors are STUNNING! Meadows around lake are fragile.

HitTheTrail
I think the lake has been planted in the past but Leafguy saw no sign of any fish and he worked it pretty hard. So I would say don't bother taking a pole unless you want to simulate the experience. There are campsites that could be used without damaging heather around the lake and plenty off away from the lake (with a better view). There is also a campsite on the bluff above the lake that will accommodate a couple of tents.
