Keith's Hut backpacking
Two days, one night stay @ Keith's hut

* the trip takes place on Sunday - Monday - past Canada day long weekend - to avoid crowds. 8)

TRIP IS FULL

:arrow: For your safety, group size is limited. Register early before the trip is full.

Agenda:
Day 1: drive in, hike up Cerise Creek via summer trail, drop camping gear in the Hut, hike to Vantage col.
Day 2: hike up Motel 66, return to Hut, pack camping gear and return home via same trail.

Routes Statistics
TH - Hut: distance: 4.5 km, elevation gain: 340 m
Hut - Vantage Col: distance: 2 km, elevation gain: 200 m
Hut - Motel 66: distance: 1.4 km, elevation gain: 340 m

IMPORTANT
ALTHOUGH the organizer of this trip has received training in mountaineering and alpine/crevasse rescue, he is NOT a professional mountaineer, guide or trained first aid attendant. The function of the organizer is only to organize the trip, ensure it gets underway and be familiar or have knowledge of the access to the area, the route or routes. Participants on a trip are responsible for their own safety and are expected to have the necessary skills, experience, fitness, suitable first aid supplies and appropriate equipment in good working order.

Carpool Fee: $40

NOTE: if minimum safety levels are not met, the trip will be canceled, last minute cancellations do occur.

2) Must have hiked with the organizer before.
3) Have emergency contacts on file ( http://goo.gl/BWqMl ) AND be confirmed ( check your email ).
4) Reply to this post : drive or carpool.

*All trip coordination is emailed to the address that you provided to trip organizer, you are responsible to check it often.
