Driving direction to Skyline Divide:
1. From Vancouver drive east on Hwy 1 to Abbotsford.
2. Take Exit 92 for Sumas and head south to the border.
3. After crossing into the US, you are on Cherry Street. Pull over to Bromley's Market, which is on your right to wait for other teammates.
4. Drive 1 km south through Sumas and turn left (east) onto Hwy 547 heading for the Baker Ski Area.
5. Follow the 547 and signs for Mt. Baker through farms and forest for roughly 17 km to a junction with Hwy 542.
6. Turn left onto 542 East and drive about 18 km to the town of Glacier.
7. Stop at the Glacier Public Service Centre, which located on the right side of the road, to purchase a parking permit. It costs US$5, it's the car owner's expense.
8. Head east on 542 to milepost 34.3.
9. Turn right onto Glacier Creek Road and then make a quick left onto Forest Service Road 37, which parallels the Nooksack River for several miles.
10. Follow the sign for the Skyline Divide Trail. The trail head is 12.7 miles ahead.
