Kennedy Falls rescue

North Shore Rescue was called out to help a lone hiker who'd set out on the
trail to Kennedy Falls. Unfortunately the hiker left too late in the day and
wasn't prepared for the very wet conditions. Thankfully, he had cell signal and
was able to call for help.

Be sure to check the sunset time before you head out - and remind your friends
and family to do the same! It gets really dark in the forest well before sunset,
and especially on dull or rainy days, so allow extra time on those hikes.
