Busy weekend for Lower Mainland SAR crews (from |Wanderung|)

With fine weather, it may have seemed inevitable that this past long
weekend was going to be a busy one for the search and rescue teams in
the Lower Mainland.

A hiker was injured on Brothers Creek trail when he broke through snow
into a gap and injured his leg, leaving him unable to walk:

A hiker spent the night on Lynn Peak when his legs cramped so badly he
couldn't walk:

Ridge Meadows SAR and Coquitlam SAR were called to search for a hiker
and her dog who got lost and spent an unintended night in the
backcountry. Thankfully the hiker found some campers at Alder Flats
and spent the night there:
