上周给了Andrew 我们以往的GPS数据(CT上的sidetrip,也是山友Tiger参加的队伍), 这是Andrew的回复,详细地说了他们上周日去那里的情况,真要谢谢他的分享!
Hi Gloria,
Your gpx track came in handy a few times last Sunday. Seemed to be a fair bit of red tape as well fortunately. The snow bridge over the creek is no longer. Through a rock on it to see how solid it was and it caved in. Had to go up the creek 20 feet and cross there, then bush bash back to the trail below.
At the lake we took the same route to the left that you did and then across to the col where we ascended to the summit. Well 3 of us anyway. Three other’s waited on a large rocky bench while we topped out. Was a couple of minor steep tricky bits but nothing to complicated.
On the return we managed to save a lot of time bum-sliding most of the route back but decided to really save some time bum-sliding right down to the lake and crossing directly to the other side. Saved at least an hour and shaved of around 1.5k in the process. The rest of the return was uneventful.
17k round trip
1400 meters elevation gain
Time: 8 hours or so.
High point: 1871 meters
Weather: sunny until circling around the lake then some cloud began to move in but still a high ceiling persisted for our viewing pleasure.
Crowds: only one solo skier descending from Jimmy Jimmy who we watched from the summit as he or she crossed the lake.
