Effective February 2nd, 2015 all Fish and Wildlife applications will be available online and will feature a web-based submission process. In order to maintain efficiency, the goal is to transition from paper applications to electronic applications over the coming months.
This new service offers many benefits:
· Convenient – prepare, submit, and pay for your application 24/7 from the comfort of your home or business.
· Extensive and easy-to-follow help - extensive and easy-to-follow online help including detailed application guides to help you through the process.
· Applications are customized to your needs - dynamic forms that only require relevant information necessary to process your application.
· Know what’s happening with your application – obtain real time status of your application when submitted with your BCeID profile.
All of the electronic Fish and Wildlife applications can be found on the FrontCounter BC website (http://www.frontcounterbc.gov.bc.ca/) by clicking on the “Start your Natural Resource Application” button and selecting “Fish and Wildlife” from the list of topics. For your convenience each application is preceded by a detailed pre-application guide that highlights both the changes to the application submission process and any information you need to know prior to starting your online application.
Please note that Adobe Reader (http://get.adobe.com/reader/) is required to complete the new electronic applications. To further ensure a positive experience an easy to follow, step-by-step, user guide can be accessed from the pre-application guide of any Fish and Wildlife application.
