(召集)山顶木屋迎新年：Sunshine Coast的Mt.Steele三天雪鞋行(易)

活动召集：三天 overnight snow shoeing(12／30／2006－－1／1／2007 木屋过新年,易)

地点：Edward/Steele Cabin

Driving distance from Vancouver 85km,excluding ferry.

活动要求：

有backpacking经历，近期有六小时以上hiking经历，有雨雪中hiking经历

领  队：Lulu 和 Camony

必备装备：

1> 三天的早,午,餐主食及煮食工具，炉头／气也可自带.
   二天的晚上可一起火煱.
2> HIKINGBOOTS和Snowshoes（再另外加双备用干净鞋子）
3> 2升水
4> 手套
5> 至少1套御寒保暖衣服
6> 防雨防风外套
7> 睡袋，睡垫
8> 头灯/手电筒
9> backpacking背包及rain cover
10> 防晒霜,雪地的紫外线反射很厉害
11>Gaiter,防雪防湿鞋湿裤又能防脏

集合地点 (两個):
1>  Broadway skytrain station旁边的Safeway停车场。
集合／出发时间:(12月30 週六 6:00AM),
再驅車往北温的McDonald (集合／出发时间 6:15AM),
坐7:20am去Langdale的ferry)

Carpool费用：$25 (车主付Vehicle Ferry Fare)
Ferry费用自付(round trip, $9.3+$1.25Fuel Surcharge一人,可以考虑买Prepaid Tickets book能便宜一些)
木屋住宿费用：$10 per person per night

对讲机频道：6-6（6主频道，6子频道）

第一天晚上集体吃火锅/喝酒，Lulu 带小肥羊底料/东来顺沾料/炉一个/一火锅。参加者自备火锅原料（比如各类肉片／肉元及可涮的豆制品蔬菜类等等)和酒类（如白酒or wine等,可用hiking装水容器灌装）

请参加者准备好自己带的火锅原料／酒水的单子后，跟贴说明一下，谢谢！

一些注意事项：

需要CARPOOL的朋友准备两双鞋（一双是登山鞋），在开始Hiking前和结束后，换上干净的鞋，
这样省去车主打扫车内卫生，谢谢！还可以再准备一双备用的袜子。爬完山，能让脚舒服一下也是种享受 :lol: .

手套很有用，保暖防寒，要防水／快干的。(如果没有防水／快干手套也可带个二三双羊毛手套湿了替换用)

！防雨防风外套／雨具和保暖衣服！

希望在第二天可把雪屋堆成, 這樣第二天的晚上大家可選擇在雪屋或木屋睡覺.

晚上再會唱歌,請帶歌詞和複印多數張,方便合唱.

氣灯,雪鏟,堆雪屋工具.

Gray Creek Road

How To Find: While driving along the Sechelt Inlet Road, you will first cross Gray Creek on a bridge, and then 1 km further, you should see Jackson's Dryland Sort on the left of the road. At this point, turn right onto the Gray Creek Road. The road thus starts on the north side of Gray creek. After about 1 km you come to "Fork 1" (see waypoints). Stay left and go north. [The right fork soon turns S and crosses Gray Creek.]

After Fork 1, the road starts to climb steeply. On your right will be a steep slope dropping off to Gray Creek. Eventually you will reach Fork 2 (see waypoints). [The left fork loops around to Richardson Lake.] At the fork, turn right and cross Gray Creek to the sount side.

Several km later, you reach the lower parking lot. It has an outhouse and room for about 10 cars. Beyond the lower parking lot, there is a gate, which is often locked, and beyond that, a steep hill with cross-ditches. At the top of this hill, less than 1 km, is the upper parking lot (the old parking lot). From the upper parking lot, you can either continue walking on the logging road, or branch off to the left onto the "Golden Dreams Trail".

打电话给Tetrahedron Outdoor Club的snow line，得知到Dec,23为止, 路况良好, Trail上100cm-200cm的雪，Tannis, Bachelor两湖上已可以行走，Edwards Lake不确定("Edwards Lake might be suitable for crossing")
