|Wanderung| Hike Call Out, Sun June 2nd,Cheakamus Lake in Garibaldi Provincial Park

INTRO and DESCRIPTION: Cheakamus Lake is a big, alpine lake located 56Km north of Squamish. It lies at elevation 915 meters surrounded by glaciers and mountains. We will hike through its thickly forested trails to the lake and then along its shore to Singing Creek.

DISTANCE: 14km
ELEVATION GAIN: Minimal
TIME NEEDED: 5-6 hrs
BOOK RATING: Easy
Hiking Pace: Moderate

MEETING TIME AND LOCATION: Sunday, June 2, 8am, in front of the Safeway at the Broadway SkyTrain station (Broadway & Commercial).


LATEST RETURN TIME: 8pm
AFTER HIKE PLANS: To be decided
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF HIKERS: 8
STRICT SIGN-UP DEADLINE: 5pm Saturday
PLEASE INDICATE: We need another driver. I have a car and can take three people. The last 7Km of way is rough but doable with 2x car as I have done it twice myself. Each passenger will pay you $12 and I will try to fill up your car.
