This beautiful park is a "must do". A 5K walk circles the park through old growth forest, grassy land and along the spectacular bluff. The best time to visit here is spring and early May, while the wild flowers covering the bluff
It is at the south east end of Hornby. The large sheltered bay boasts the warmest ocean water in BC and the finest white sand beach, a safe place for swimming. When the tide is out, you can wade in shallow water and explore the tidal pool
At the end of Central Rd. is the focal point of Hornby, the large Co-op grocery store, the only gas station of the island and the adjacent Ringside Market, cafe, and art shop

When I was yonger and lived in Victoria, I made many trips to and spent quite a bit of time on Hornby Island and still have many friends there. Your report and pictures took me back to all those great times and wonderful memories.
