A friendly reminder:

(If you don't have extended health care paid by your employer)
You should be aware that your provincial coverage may not pay for all the health care costs you may incur outside the province, and the difference can be substantial. For example, B.C. pays $75 (Cdn) a day for emergency in-patient hospital care, while the average cost in the U.S. often exceeds $1000 (US) a day, and can be as high as $10,000 (US) a day in intensive care. For this reason, you are strongly advised to purchase additional health insurance from a private insurer before you leave the province, whether you are going to another part of Canada or outside the country - even if you plan to be away for only a day. See Medical Care Outside B.C. for more information.

Any possibility to change to Saturday?

Hi, Aex and Camony:

Thanks very much for organizing this hike again.  I was there with you last year and it was a great experience.

I would very much like to join you this time, but Saturday would work much better for me.  Any possibility to change?

If not, please still reserve a spot, I will confirm tomorrow.

Best regards,

Explorer

Hello Explorer,

I do remember it was our first time hiking together there.  Unfortunately, I have to work on Sat & Sun, so Mon is the only day I can stretch my legs.

If there are enough cars from Vancouver, I would like to drive myself down and meet you at the trail head instead!

It is easier for me to go thru Peace Arch crossing instead of Sumas.

I didn't list ice-axe is req'd, so let's return if it's not safe.  If not enough, we can do Table Mtn. as well.  On the way back, we can stop at Picture Lake to take pics.
