Wilderness First Aid

A comprehensive program for those who live, work, and play in the Canadian wilderness. Students are prepared with the skills and knowledge to care for injuries and promote recovery when you are hours, or even days, away from emergency medical aid. An excellent program for Scout and Guide leaders, employees working in remote locations, campers, hikers, hunters, and others who enjoy wilderness recreational activities. Topics covered include: cold exposure, animal bites,gunshot wounds, broken bones and much more.

Prerequisite: Participants must be at least 18 years of age and have a current Emergency level First Aid
