1. 週日早上6:45am @ Broadway Safeway
2. 7:00am @ Upper Level Hwy Exit 17 MacDonald

8> Day hiking背包
9> 防晒霜, 紫外线反射很厉害
10>墨鏡
11> Gaiter, 防湿鞋湿裤又能防脏
12> 哨子
13> 一對登山杖
14> 雪鞋

一些注意事项：

需要CARPOOL的朋友准备两双鞋（一双是登山鞋），在开始Hiking前和结束后，换上干净的鞋，这样省去车主打扫车内卫生，谢谢！还可以再准备一双备用的袜子。爬完山，能让脚舒服一下也是种享受 .

手套很有用，保暖防寒，要防水／快干的。

Kallahne Creek Road
Destinations: Provides access to the Deeks Peak trail. Porteau Camp put in a small shelter at Lost Lake, before the government shut the camp down.

How to Find: There is a parking lot on the west side of highway 99, right opposite the starting point for the Deeks Lake trail. There is a sign. Follow the Deeks lake trail for a few hundred feet till it intersects a road. Turn right on the road, and follow it (more or less level) till you see a ribbon marking an old road going left. This is the start of the Kallahne Creek Trail.

How to Follow: The first part of the trail is easy walking on the old road. Eventually you come to some boulders that used to block how far you could hike. Continuing past these, the road has been resloped, but it is still good walking, and as of 2005 the bushes have been cut. However, eventually at about 2000 feet, the going gets rougher, with rough travel underfoot, and the bush has not been cleared. There are several impressive rock cuts where blasting was done for the original road. Eventually the trail turns the corner and reaches the Lost Lake Cabin. See various trip reports for details.

Driving directions:
Drive Highway 99 north from Horseshoe Bay 22km to the Porteau exit.
This is the exit at the highway overpass about two kilometers south of Porteau Cove Provincial Park.
Eventually, it will service a housing development. There's is a parking area for the trail above the highway but it's not plowed in winter.

The parking is on the west side (the side heading Vancouver) of HWY99
