Thanks. I have checked the page but still like to know in general what is the snow condition in early July, for I have to decide whether bring my snowshoes when I strat the trip 10 days earlier.

With the hot weather, I expect that it will be relatively snow free on the trails in July, depending on your destination. Even now you could potentially hike up Panorama Ridge without wearing snowshoes but it would be more difficult and energy-wasting.

I agree with 英子, your best bet would be checking the official BC parks website for trail condition.

灰綫: 行前根據地圖繪畫的路綫, 跟實際的路綫所差不遠.

第二天–Base of Empetrum
藍綫: 第二天Helm Creek Trail to Base of Empetrum
紫綫: 行前根據地圖繪畫的上山路綫, 可惜因Helm Creek阻路而沒有成行.

借Jinsi MM的贴子发点周日去Garibaldi的相片，好久没常规锻炼了，所以这个月起私下里开练以盼早日加入Alex/Camony大队，近几周开始爬GG/BCMC，每周一次，周末去了Garibaldi，体力还是不行，上了Black Tusk的半山腰我就爬不动了。现在正在融雪，过了Taylor meadow，就开始有一大片一大片的雪了而且很泥泞，走起来很容易陷，体力消耗较大,相信这周雪又会融很多....

天氣炎熱, 山上的雪都快化掉了, Garibaldi Lake的景色在一週中的變化很大!

這兩週較忙, 現在才有空續完這遊記. 謝謝各位觀看. :D

後記

這次不能成功扺達Empetrum, 最主要的因素是估計不到Helm Creek會如此湍急. 我們行前已看過其他隊伍在前一週登Empetrum的遊記, 相信那時的雪橋還很堅固, 誰知只是幾天之隔, 路況便大變, 這是在春夏交替時Hiking的特點, 山徑的路況/雪況往往是未知之數. 我想若下季再往Empetrum探索, 四, 五月期間會較合適.

最後是在Empetrum前拍的一段短片, Helm Creek是既急且深, 音頻中的沙沙聲是急流的聲響.
