那个gps不用带包装了，只带机器就可以，我就直接用了。免得包装留在车里有危险。另外，用什么样的电池，我是否得事先买好带去？告诉我一下电池型号。

1. I am going to pick up GPS today and have no clue what batteries are now. Talk to Everie who has the same model.

2. I like to put our BPs on the roof this wknd to see how well we can control our loads for Jasper trip as a rehearsal. I will bring some ropes and we need to work together for it. Prepare for it.

I got the Chinese National Geography, August of 2008. It has an article for Yosemite hiking and climbing. U might enjoy reading it during the driving. Then I am afraid u would ask me to u-trun and drive down to south for it, ha-ha.
Mt Whitney is the highest in Northern America Continent. However, it has no way to compare with falls and rocks in Yosemite.

I just wonder I do not see the some other familiar names here as last two wknd. It means we wont get "cold needle" for this party. Shame on u.

走出WCT后，稍稍休整，我们在7月5、6日走的这条线路。
我们5日傍晚到达 Garbaldi Lake 营地，因是周日下午，一路上碰到许多人拔营下撤，我们到达后可以任选营地。但在6公里处看到牌子说：Garbaldi Lake 已经Full，请大家转到Taylor 营地。想来周六的营地应该是非常紧俏。

6日走Panorama Ridge 时，山顶部分还有些积雪，但trail 状况良好，草绿了，花开了，风景很美。

多谢加西朋友们的帮助，老虎、ALEX、Lulu 提供的信息、GPS数据，在遥远的路途实现了梦想，踏上了温哥华的trail，登上了积雪覆盖的山顶，虽然那两天阴雨绵绵，云雾笼罩，云山雾海，伴随着山中的雨声和水流声，那是一种别样风情。

如果还有一些朋友想去的的话，我可以组织一个小分队在Taylor Meadow扎营，第二天在Panaroma Ridge山顶和大队会师 :lol:

If someone brings cold NEEDLE for the party, I shall stay away from him to avoid the sting. :mrgreen:

Jerry, this is the last chance for your group to do a rehearsal before setting out for Jasper. We'd like to save spaces for you pals. After you're back, I shall be happy to join you again because you always make the trip full of stories and funs.

GPS用两节普通AA电池就可以了，不过恐怕你不能马上用，要先装一些地图才好用。

司機接載乘客後各自到Garibaldi Lake, 約7:30am 至7:45am在Rubble Creek停車場集合。司機要在停車場的meter用信用卡 or cash付露營費, 每人$5。
請準時, 逾時不候!

Apple 仍要6:00am去教堂和Alex carpool.
格格請6:00am在21街 & Fulton等Jerry.

GPS track是前年冬天还有不少雪时走的，比较乱，不少地方没按trail走,仅供参考，这条路线夏季很清楚 :wink:

我也想去，不过7点赶不到Metrotown（最快要7：20am），连Ridge一天拿下没什么把握（30Km，1525m elevation gain）。
