去年错过了Alex/Camony组织的Cascade Pass-Sahale Arm backpacking，今年补上 :lol:

Yes, I am in along with fruits and drinks.

Since there is no penalty for overweight, 40LB, I strongly suggest Apply to bring a HEAVIER BP for beers and that does not require a bigger BP, ha-ha.

BTW: which days do u have for your long wknd? We have Sep 5-7, Sat-Mon.

主要问题是：要求当天或前一天拿到baccountry permit，又是长周末又是popular的地方等我们到怕是已经满了，正在想办法中,应该能够解决 :lol: ......

I take over the BP permit issue. 1. Yes, the permit is issued to the individuals on the day before or on the same day. For us, it is either Fr or Sat. 2. If it is full, the ranger station will help u for different camping site. 3. The road to Sahale T/H is scheduled to be closed to repair from Sep 1 and reopen for Sep 5-7. Under this circumstance, I have to eye on the reopen schedule.

Well, do our best and follow the God.

Thanks Jerry, here is what I got:

1 Per Chelsea at NP “The permits must be picked up at the Marblemount Wilderness Info centre (Closes point to the trailhead) and nowhere else. They cannot be picked up in Glacier.”

2 She suggested coming early in the morning on Saturday. There is a road closure notice on September 1st, 2nd and 3rd to replace the “Hard Creek” bridge (mile 12.7) on the cascade river road. It will reopen for the Labor Day weekend on Friday September 4th to 7th. Quote: “This may deter a lot of visitors from coming who wanted to stay the week prior and make it a little quieter.”

I agree. I do not see any major hurdle but the road reopening for that wknd.

Please correct me if I am wrong but I wanna make sure we are on the same page!

The 3 days is from Sept 5th - 7th and the only one site left (#04) that takes reservation! 9 sites are considered walk-in first come first serve. The rest have already booked!

Also please pay attention to the following on this Mineral Park camp site:

# Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.
# This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends.
# This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends.
