Garibaldi湖在我心目中的位置不同于其他所有的湖，似乎有点神山圣湖的意味，不知道为什么。

Robin的道学真是让人高山仰止，佩服。他的功夫就是让老杨在开车的时候“呆若木鸡”，错过高速路出口。

这样我有了一个密不通风，钉上木片，抹以泥灰的房屋，十英尺宽，十五英尺长，木拄高八英尺，还有一个阁楼，一个小间每一边一扇大窗，两个活板门，尾端有一个大门，正对大门有个砖砌的火炉。我的房子的支出，只是我所用的这些材料的一般价格，人工不算在内，因为都是我自己动手的，总数我写在下面：我抄写得这样的详细，因为很少数人能够精确他说出来，他们的房子终究花了多少钱，而能够把组成这一些房子的各式各样的材料和各别的价格说出来的人，如果有的活，也是更加少了：——

　　屋顶及墙板用的旧木片……四．０００元
　　板条……一·二五０元
　　两扇旧窗及玻璃……二·四三０元

　　所有材料都在这里了，除了木料，石头，沙子，后面这些材料我是用在公地上占地盖屋的人应该享受的特权取来的。我另外还搭了一个披屋，大都是用造了房子之后留下来的材料盖的。

难忘的穿越之途.

I wish to thank all of you for helping me that day, especially Tony, Eric and Robin for walking all those extra Kms, Lulu and the rest making an effort to help the others with their packs and most importantly Camony and Alex for their kindiness to drive all that way and bring me home.

As of today after having a cardiac test, I have beeen put on notice to avoid all physical exercise and strenuous activity untill the problem is corrected. I was not aware at the time that my heart was having a problem and I did not realize that I was having heart problems on Saturday or when I thought I could return on Sunday when I felt better.

I was due to have this test earlier but it was not made completely clear to me how risky it was to go on this trip and thought only to be a medication problem. Had I known what I know today, I would not have taken the chance and put everyone in such a bad position.

I am very sorry about this to all of you. At this point I have no idea as to when I will be able to resume but hope I will be able to return to such wonderful friends soon. You have all been so kind. I am also sorry to Lulu for upsetting her when I slipped on the trail. I know I upset you and I know the fears and memories you endure from the past as a result of Leo's death. I apologize. :(  :oops:

Many wonderful pictures, I wish I could have made it but in the end perhaps after knowing what I know today, I probably was not meant to go

I thank Leo for helping me the next day to come and see you and have all of us return safely.

We have a saying, "When you fall off a horse, you immediately get back up on it and ride again." I know it wasn't the smartest thing for me to do, but I just wanted to come back on Sunday and say thank you
