本周末3月5号6号两天backpacking---Sphinx bay hut(穿越Garibaldi湖)

Backpacking---Sphinx bay hut(穿越Garibaldi Lake)

已预订了木屋的12人位置，这条路线属于simple terrain，较安全。就是长些辛苦些。

出发时间:周六 (3月5日)

集合地点两个:

1: 7:00am
Safeway Parking Lot on East Broadway & Commercial, next to sky train station.

2. 8:00am
Squamish A&W

參加者基本要求：
團隊精神 - 共進共退，友爱互助。

責任與備註:
1. 戶外活動有風險，一切組織和活動屬自願，責任自負。

2. 一切計劃會跟據當時天氣, 環境作靈活變動, 隊友應跟隨整體行進, 不可單獨行動。

3. 一定要三人一組結伴同行。每組備對講機一部, 否則每組定要保持在視線範圍之內。

司機注意: 如閣下持有Novice牌(Class 7), 除非在一名年滿25歲持有Class 1 - 5的人仕陪同, 否則只可接載一名乘客, 也一定是掛上"N"字標誌。請參閱 ICBC網站

對講機頻道：6-6（6主频道，6子频道）

個人必备装备：

1>帶備4餐(including 火锅,早晚煮食，中午方便餐)+ snack +extra food
******每人各带一菜食和大家分享,酒水随意(optional)*****

2>煮食工具/餐具
3> HIKINGBOOTS (再另外加双备用干净鞋子）+snowshoes
4> 1.5升水(最好能有保温杯带些热水)
5> 手套+Hat+extra socks (必備)
6> 御寒保暖衣服 Down Jacket+fleece(必備)
7> 防雨防风又透气外套和防雪(水)裤子
8> 睡垫+睡袋
9> 头灯/手电筒
10> backpacking背包及rain cover
11> 防晒霜,高山的紫外线反射很厉害+ sun glass
12>Gaiter, 防雪防湿鞋湿裤又能防脏
14>登山杖
15> 防水贮藏袋
16>相機
17>个人清洁卫生用品，如牙刷牙膏湿巾纸面巾厕纸等
18>舒适保暖的bootie

.............Winter

Mid winter access is generally straightforward. Ski / Snowshoe the portion of road which is not plowed in winter (2km), then up the trail to Garibaldi Lake (9km) and then continue across the frozen lake to the hut (4.7km) which is located just past the moraine wall in Sphinx Bay, on the North side of the river which drains the basin. Total distance and elevation gain are about 15.7km and 1100m.
It is usually possible to "short cut" the summer trail to Garibaldi Lake somewhat by crossing portions of the smaller lakes en route, but trying to go directly up the river is generally a bad idea. Make sure to scout the ice from a hill first, as the far side of the lake around the Burton Hut is always the last part to freeze, and it is not easy to spot open water from so far away if you are standing at lake level. February, March and April are the most reliable months for solid ice on the lake. If the lake is not frozen, the hut can still be reached by the summer route over Panorama Ridge and Gentian Peak......

此小屋很舒适，虽没有烧木材的炉子，但小屋密封性很好，位置也极佳。保证很享受 :wink:

关键是：你想一想，哪回你爬完以后觉得和你原来问的差不多的？肯定是又长出来高出来不少！（一点都没有攻击领队的意思哦！）
所以结论就是：相信Lulu，她到了，你也就到了（想想不对，还是拍拍领队的马屁吧，万一给踢出队伍就不好玩了）。

1100米拔高对我挺有挑战性。是第一天爬上去，第二天再下来吗？ :?:
