參加者基本要求：
團隊精神 - 共進共退，友爱互助。

責任與備註:
1. 戶外活動有風險，一切組織和活動屬自願，責任自負。

2. 一切計劃會跟據當時天氣, 環境作靈活變動, 隊友應跟隨整體行進, 不可單獨行動。

3. 一定要三人一組結伴同行。每組備對講機一部, 否則每組定要保持在視線範圍之內。

司機注意: 如閣下持有Novice牌(Class 7), 除非在一名年滿25歲持有Class 1 - 5的人仕陪同, 否則只可接載一名乘客, 也一定是掛上"N"字標誌。請參閱 ICBC網站

個人必备装备：

1>帶備4餐(早晚煮食，中午方便餐)+ snack +extra food

7> 防雨防风又透气外套和防雪(水)裤子 (必備)
8> 睡垫+睡袋(必備)
9> 头灯/手电筒(必備)
10> backpacking背包及rain cover(必備)
11> 防晒霜+sun glass墨镜(高山雪地的紫外线反射很厉害,必備)
12>Gaiter, 防雪防湿鞋湿裤又能防脏(必備)
14>登山杖(必備)
15> 防水贮藏袋(必備)
16>相機(必備)
17>个人清洁卫生用品，如牙刷牙膏湿巾纸面巾厕纸等(必備)
18>舒适保暖的bootie

.............Winter

Mid winter access is generally straightforward. Ski / Snowshoe the portion of road which is not plowed in winter (2km), then up the trail to Garibaldi Lake (9km) and then continue across the frozen lake to the hut (4.7km) which is located just past the moraine wall in Sphinx Bay, on the North side of the river which drains the basin. Total distance and elevation gain are about 15.7km and 1100m.
It is usually possible to "short cut" the summer trail to Garibaldi Lake somewhat by crossing portions of the smaller lakes en route, but trying to go directly up the river is generally a bad idea. Make sure to scout the ice from a hill first, as the far side of the lake around the Burton Hut is always the last part to freeze, and it is not easy to spot open water from so far away if you are standing at lake level. February, March and April are the most reliable months for solid ice on the lake. If the lake is not frozen, the hut can still be reached by the summer route over Panorama Ridge and Gentian Peak......

I wish i could join the backpacking, but i can only join once :( for winter overnight, so I prefer brew hut, it is warmer in March and the view might be better.

Totally agree with you. We went to the lake in spring last year, didn't see anything except white snow and ice. It was a boring
trip.

这个路线还是挺辛苦的，建议报名的同学现在起就要加强训练，我最近一段时间也较少锻炼，心里也挺没底的，今天一早起来，把小孩子家门口的Mt. Donglas爬了二遍，可惜加起来也只有500m左右，看来下周要多多运动了，不然体能不够穿湖会非常辛苦，特别是碰上雪况需要开路的情况

Worst case scenario: Stay at Garibaldi Lake and day trip across the Lake.

Think Twice about snow camping (tenting) when in Burton Hut area! COLD is the word!
