Current weather is raining and avy danger forecast for Sunday has been elevated from Low to Moderate. Weather forecast for Sunday "Rain. Low plus 5. High 8." Mountain road to the trailhead may be too slippery to be safe for driving. To make sure participants don't get stuck committed with such uncertainty when other better hiking options available, it was decided to dismiss the trip.
