**如果只能买一样的话，我会选真正的冰爪，象潘博士一样，用他的冰爪爬雪山也可用来走雪季的BCMC trail。

两个都买也不错，象我一样 :wink: ：小冰爪小巧灵活方便抓地性也不错，容易携带，走硬雪窄路或林中硬雪较缓坡之类的trail穿比较合适（比如雪季的CMC带上小冰爪去爬也很安全），但小冰爪并不适合用于climbing，也有安全隐患---因为这种简易方便的trail crampon齿浅不专业而且大多没有阻雪板(except Yaktrax XTR Extreme Outdoor Traction)，在雪很湿粘的时候(especially in temperatures around freezing)要常检查脚底是否结团块(balling up)，如果有，要敲掉，不然的话，Balling up脚底便沒有找力,比沒有穿上這個還危險。

Hey lulu, saw you posted on CT asking for Cheam road condition. I was there on Aug 5. The road was not too bad except you must have high ground clearance vehicle to get to the parking lot. There are several deep cross ditches besides minor water bars. We saw all sorts of SUVs along the way, CRV, RAV4, Q5 etc. A bitten sedan also drove quite high up. I guess the driver didn't really care about scrapping the bottom or the driver's skill was very good. Cars that didn't make it to the parking lot, parked along the road. There are several spots below the parking lot (~2km) where cars could safely parked along the side.

I found spoon lake not as beautiful as in the past.
