Lulu,就不麻烦你安排我的Carpool了，我自己骑车去岛上和诸位会合。
哪位坐过从Victoria去往Port Angeles的ferry？是不是边检需要耽误时间？对行人和骑车者也一样吗？谢谢回答。

Everywhere on Lopez Island, you see bicycles: Leaning against -cedar trees, pink tulips planted in their baskets; in the back of vintage blue Chevy trucks; parked outside Holly B’s Bakery in the village, where the wooden sign above the door reads mayor. When you get to the corner of Lopez Road and Military Road, there’s a weathered yellow bike mounted way up on an equally weathered barn, and it’s such a made-for-Instagram photo op that hundreds of cleats have beaten a path into the grass, just to capture a perfect and nostalgic image.

The 37-mile loop of Lopez, the mellowest, the most agricultural, and most hippie of Washington’s achingly beautiful San Juan Islands. Some people call it Slowpez, for the way it winds you down. Some people call it the Friendly Isle, for the way drivers finger-wave at everyone. And some people call it the Bicyclists’ Island, for all these reasons, and for the bike-turnout signs on the main roads, and the -Victorian inns with bike storage, and because Lopez—compared with the hilly Orcas and busy San Juan, which comprise the other main stops on the ferry route—is relatively flat.

方法用下：

***装免费的MotionX app，事先在家下载好offline地图（用wifi）比如这次的Lopez Island


***下载GPS数据（.gpx文件）
比如用我们环岛骑行的数据，打开下面链接，点58km.gpx文件右击"save link as"保存下来到计算机上，再把文件做为email attachment发出, 用iphone下载email中的附件后用MotionX打开，就可以用了.

周六和周日晚餐---BBQ/篝火/小酒/茶话大家一起热闹，周日的早餐一起煮食（大概是粥/鸡蛋/牛奶/面包/面条/汤？）再分配一下各人周日中午的三明治之类的简餐，周日基本上也是各车单独活动傍晚一起FB(cycling/hiking/clamming/etc), 周一的早餐和周日相同。

周六我们俩尽量搭10:40am ferry，很有可能赶不上要坐12:35pm的船（因为我们俩很可能Saturday 9:30am shopping  @ Costco Burlingham, it takes 30 mins driving from Costco to Anacortes ferry），早到的同学可以用我的名字check-in(把下面的Confirmed reservation打印出来带上?)?：Yue Zhang;  营地: G1(group camping site #1)

Lopez Island Farmers Market

In Lopez Village right next to the community center, take time to stroll the Lopez Farmers’ Market on Saturdays from mid-May through mid September. Not only a fine place to have lunch, but also a chance to pick up unique gifts. Here many of the island’s artists set up shop -- hand blown and stained glass, fiber art, jewelry, pottery -- along with an abundance of fresh produce and seafood, meat, homemade jams, and herbal products. 租自行车的同学可以周六下午五点钟前租？骑回营地?租车是二十四小时的价格，这样周日下午还合算一些？

喜欢hiking的周一可以去Orcas Island爬爬山:（6:55am or 9:55am ferry去，然后坐12:20pm or 5:15pm ferry直接回Anacortes）---e.g. Mount Constitution/Moran State Park （he highest point in the San Juan Islands—2,409 feet）
