2015.07.29 Mount Dana, Yosemite National Park, CA
At an elevation of 13,061 feet (3,981 m), it is the second highest mountain in Yosemite (after Mount Lyell), and the northernmost summit in the Sierra Nevada which is over 13000 feet in elevation. Mount Dana is the highest peak in Yosemite that is a simple hike to the summit.
Mono Lake from the summit.
Pictures time
Got tired of BC bushwacking? Then this is the place to go, California that is. 8)
Mount Dana is almost 4,000 meters high (13,061 feet). For Vera it became her 4th 11,000er.
Life at the top.
View of Yosemite National Park from the trail to Mt. Dana.
When there is nothing else above you, the only thing which you can touch is the blue sky.
Curios marmot.
