下周六(8月13号)活动召集：Skywalk trail的最佳路线day hiking
从Mountain View Trailhead 出发，沿 19 Mile Creek Trail East走上the Flank Trai，只走三十米转到 Upper 19 Mile Creek to access the Skywalk Trail.......
Skywalk North Loop:
来回公18+里
爬高1000米
From Mountainview Place to Upper 19 Mile Creek Trail: Drive to the end of Mountainview Place in Alpine Meadows. There is a large cul-de-sac with parking. Again, please respect the adjacent property owners on your drive in. From the north end of the cul-de-sac an obvious mountain bike trail exits. Follow this up the hill and one will see reflectors, some with comments written on them to help navigation. Quite soon, the trail emerges onto a good gravel road. Turn left on this road and continue up it until one reaches a large cement water tower. Continue up the smaller road on the north side of the tower until joining another larger road. NEW TRAIL SEGMENT: Stay right and walk up a gently sloping road to a grassy area on your left (uphill). Walk up the left margin of the grass and you will see markers and an obvious trail. Follow this trail with markers and some flagging until it crosses Howler and continues 20m further to join with the old 19 Mile Creek Trail. Continue on up the old road which starts to curve right and to ascend along the north bank of 19 Mile Creek. Stay on this road/trail until there is an obvious junction where the logging road turns a sharp right. A narrower trail is flagged to the left. Continue up this, crossing a few boardwalks, one that is obviously new, until one emerges onto the Flank Trail. Turn left for the 19 Mile Creek Trail and it will appear about 60m south. This time the trail is on one's right and is clearly marked. This is the quickest access from the Whistler Valley and generally takes about 40 minutes to do the 2.5km from Mountainview Place to the Flank Trail.

司機注意: 如閣下持有Novice牌(Class 7), 除非在一名年滿25歲持有Class 1 - 5的人仕陪同, 否則只可接載一名乘客, 也一定是掛上"N"字標誌。請參閱 ICBC網站

必备装备：
1> lunch & snacks
2> 防水Hiking boots +Gaiter
3> 3升水
4> 一對手套+hat
5> quick dry base layer 和一套御寒保暖衣服(e.g. fleece/down jacket)
6> 防雨防风外套
7> 头灯/手电筒
8> Day hiking背包及rain cover
9> 防晒霜
10>墨鏡
11> Gaiters,防雪防湿鞋湿裤又能防脏
12> 哨子
13> 登山杖
14> 雨具
一些注意事项：
需要CARPOOL的朋友准备两双鞋（一双是登山鞋），在开始Hiking前和结束后，换上干净的鞋，这样省去车主打扫车内卫生，谢谢！还可以再准备一双备用的袜子。爬完山，能让脚舒服一下也是种享受 .
手套很有用, 保暖防寒, 要防水／快干的, 建议备两双.
