I'm in.  Need carpool, want to share Lulu's tent & 1/3 of the tent weight.   :lol:

Alex can shuttle us if that period doesn't conflict with his other schedule.   :wink:

Google 959-322   49°56' 42.0"-123°03' 24.0"=Outlet of Garibaldi Lake
1472m (4829')

Note that Sentinel Hut that we used will not accomodate more than 4
people comfortably, and more than 6 - at all. Sphinx is larger, but
somewhat off the direct course.
Apart from that, there's not much to our planning.
The algorithm is following:
- put one foot ahead of the other;
- repeat this action ~50,000 times;
- you're done.

Good luck,
EK

This group was fast...only took 2.5 days to finish the traverse.
I don't think I can.   :roll:

Would love to tag along if the trip is indeed during the Easter long weekend. Done the Elfin Lake a few times last winter but never none beyond that Lake.

:qb:)

I don't like this part which they did(in red),  We won't do that, descent down Columnar is faster and safter

I would be interested in doing a 2 or 3-day snow camping trip during the Easter holidays provided there is a good weather window and someone is willing to share a 4-season tent with me.

:wink:

We'll do a 3-day trip then :lol:

My friend Bob will do the Neve Monday and Tuesday on his own. He will start at Elfin but not go all the way to Garibaldi lake. he'd turn around and ski back to Elfin and to his car there......I'll ask him for more info later...

Right now it would be pretty easy as we know there is a snowshoe track already in place (unless there was a
LOT of new snow yesterday). The timing is good right now(avy risk is low)......
