28 Jun. Sat.: Vancouver to Deer Lake; ETD 0730hr, ETA 2000hr via Air Canada.

29 Jun. Sun. to 2 Jul.: Long Range Traverse (if weather helps, we may get it done in three days hiking) ;

3-5 Jul.: road trip by car: viking road (hwy#430)东北方向， 沿途有两个national historic sites: Port au Choix N.H.S, Anse aux Meadows N.H.S.

5 Jul. Sat.: Deer Lake to Vancouver; ETD 2035hr, ETA 0100hr+1day via Air Canada.

TO TRAILHEAD: Fly into Deer Lake, Newfoundland, 42 miles distant. Rent a car or hire a taxi (719-458-8818; grosmorneviptours.com) to reach trailheads. Campgrounds, cabins and motels are available in Rocky Harbour.

In Jun, the price for boat tour is $60/adult at departing 11:00am and 12:30pm, it takes one hour to Western Brook Pond.

Another option is high speed shuttle at price #32.50/adult (minimum $195/shuttle), it takes 20-25mins to Western Brook Pond.

The boat tour can be reached via Route 430, 27 kilometres north of Rocky Harbour. From the parking lot there is a pleasant 45 minute walk (three kilometres or roughly two miles) to the dock.

Welcome if you can train yourself for a multi-day backpacking trip! :P  五月中旬(?)我要到沙省出差一个月左右(?). 这段时间我没有机会召集任何活动，建议参加小C, David/YinG, PanShiBo, Poker等朋友组织的活动来训练+坚持一周一二次的负重GG/BCMC. 据我ld探报，现在的Grouse Grind已经没有雪了 :wink:
