意犹未尽的Grand Circle七天游（Vegas，Zion，Bryce，Grand Canyon）

失策啊！失策不能怨社会，我们不能埋怨官方材料再三强调的“不建议一天到河边往返”，这些建议四季有效，是给来大峡谷游玩的每年5百万游客的。而且即便是再有经验的hiker，在夏天的时候，仍需要听取这最苦口婆心的建议。

毕竟，这里是亚利桑那州，是谚语中要给鸡蛋上放上冰块才不至于老母鸡忙活着孵熟鸡蛋的地方。夏天的时候，峡谷底部温度随随便便能达到45度以上，一路出溜着往下跑容易，上山的时候，上坡高温加疲惫，叹气叹气。。。我们这样凉爽的天气里hiking，上山用的也是2倍下山时间，想想在酷暑高温，沿途没水的条件下，摇头摇头。。。

不过这次，老天把一份完美的机会放在我们面前，我们没有珍惜，等失去的时候我才后悔莫及。如果上天能够给我一个再来一次的机会，我会对大峡谷说三个字：我还来。如果非要在“我还来”上加上一个状语，我希望是……Rim2Rim……

至于Trail的景色，这里还是大峡谷，所以任何华丽的语言在这里都失效。日落西山，千沟万壑间，是光与影的游戏。

我要从南走到北，我还是从北走到南？

从North Rim下到谷底的trail，只有North Kaibab Trail一条是有维护的，所以没得商量，走North Kaibab Trail；从South Rim可以走South Kaibab或者Bright Angle Trail。

Bright Angle到Bright Angle Campground有9.3mile，其中2mile是沿着河边走的river trail。所以貌似坡度和South Kaibab Trail一样，但长了2mile。而且名字上似乎也是南北Kaibab更加一气呵成，所以考虑R2R的时候选择South Kaibab Trail+North Kaibab Trail。

从这个表格一目了然，North Kaibab Trail长但缓，所以上坡合适，也就是需要从南走到北，取道South Kaibab Trail下坡了。

另外还有一个bonus就是R2R的T恤只有在North Kaibab Lodge有的卖，完成了再买了穿上好像才有感觉！那比来比去，还是崔健有理，“我要从南走到北”。不过，如果还有下一次的下一次，让我们再从北走到南！

再至于我是要从白走到黑，还是做2天的backpacking，我想这回不听崔健的了，还是让我们分两天，仔细地享受享受大峡谷底的白天和夜晚吧。

已经开始期待中......说了半天，但愿不是纸上谈兵，哇咔咔咔咔~~~~

希望与期待：就是大峡谷给我的终极印象。

If you're hiking up or down Bright Angel Trail try to take the short 3 mile round trip side hike out to Plateau Point from where it starts at Indian Garden Campground half way down (or up) Bright Angel.  It affords a different landscape than the previous trails and the views are awesome

It took me a while to translate your trip report, using wordlingo online translator and some guessing, but I really enjoyed it. You are a very good writer and very funny. I like the part at the beginning where you talk about emptying your pockets to have fun. There may be no money, but fun is more important especially hiking. I really enjoy hiking with you and Marcus all the time.

It's sooooo encouraging to hear that. 3Q3Q3Q, (this is a typical hybrid of Mandarin and English, use guessing and you'll know the meaning  :D  :D  :D ) , Paul. BTW, next time, call me for the real-time female/male-voiced translator - don't trust any online translator, which might "misunderestimate" my "talent" - JK.
