Avoid the crowds. Go to the summit.
Obviously, views from the summits are always nicer than from the ground. Less people too. Good news is that many peaks in the Canadian Rockies can be reached without special training, trails are a lot better than in BC, summits are much higher and no bushwacking ever involved. The ultimate source of such trails luckily is contained in one single book "the gospel of scree" "Scrambles in the Canadian Rockies". New edition of the book is out this summer (2015).
