Avalanche on Abbot Pass. ACC Hut is visible on the col.

..on the list of highest permanent structures in Canada. The hut is on the Continental Divide so the provincial and National Park borders run right down the middle of the hut. Make dinner in Alberta, eat it in BC.

Hiking Deception Pass, Skoki. Mt Redoubt (M) above Lake Redoubt. Ptarmigan Lake, and Mt Victoria (3,467 m) at the skyline (R). Can also see Boulder Pass, Mt. Lefroy and Fairview if you know where to look. 8)

已经下雪了，雪景也很美！

这样只是第一天（11号），温度零下10度。后来一直很暖和，温度零上10度。明显，雪都没有了，印度夏天来了。8)

On this mountain happened the first recorded North American mountaineering fatality (cause climbing unprotected). Contrary to common sense and media criticism ("why educated men would risk their lives for obviously no reason"), it triggered much more interest resulting in modern albinism the way it is now.

Not that I want to go political, but many thanks to BC Teachers' Federation Union deciding to go on strike in such times and making this trip happen. No school, go travel! 8)
