2020.08.17 Vimy Peak (summit 2020.08.15)

只要一进Waterton，你就得面对Vimy Peak，想不看都不行，它实在是太突出了：Prince Wales Hotel的对面，我们和它隔湖相望，日出日落，怎么都绕不过它。从第一次去，一晃数年，每次都在想什么时候可以站在上面呢？以前总是觉得要坐船过去才是最好的方式，而不喜欢有任何限制的我们就被这个卡住了，一直到今年，觉得可以了，为什么？因为我们有船了呀！（哈哈，信心就是这样来的，虽然也没用上）

有船了，以前的excuse就没了，一定要去！我们便开始寻找船可以入水的地方，oops，最佳点的access road closed！背着船穿过丛林走一两公里？嗯嗯，Nonono！再去lower lake查探，博士还下水蹚了过去，结果一看Gps，到湖对岸后还得1公里bushwhacking才能走到Wishbone trail上，继续回走约2公里才到去Vimy的岔口，这样算了根本占不到什么便宜啊，并不省多少路，而且我们都有bushwhacking的经历，我们都不喜欢。

几番思量，几经斟酌，我们还去Wishbone trail的TH考察了一下，trail的质量和view帮助我们下定了决心：放弃用船，改为完全徒步一一27公里往返。（我们平时不喜欢长距离，这是个例外）

决心已定，便无他念，唯有静心准备，蓄势待发！（很有大战前的感觉哦）

On the top of Mt. Temple, our second time. Famous "Ten Peaks" at the back.

With Moraine Lake, 1 vertical mile below.

Making use of the best rappel station we ever seen in the Canadian Rockies.
