2020.09.10 Mt. Wilcox, contd.

Mt. Wilcox was one of our first peaks in Canadian Rockies, and which we failed to top back in 2014. We eventually climbed it in 2017. Now, standing on the summit for the 2nd time (and hopefully, not the last - Wilcox never disappoints!).

对我而言，这完全就是一个成长的过程。这次在Wilcox的途中我们还在说笑着我的过去，那个2014年的第一次，怎么也迈不出步子了，在当时我的眼里，那个trail就是没法走的，我觉得我会一直滚下去，怎么也控制不了，最后没办法，只好硬着头皮对博士说我不敢再爬了....... 那种感觉如此之强烈，至今还挥之不去。而如今呢，落基山的Loose Rock、脚底下陡坡上滚珠一般的小细石竟然都已不再畏惧，连自己也感叹着奇妙的人的可塑性。博士总在叨叨的mileage、mileage、mileage，看来真是一剂良药！

The standard route is "class 3-" if you know it, class 5 if you don't.

Sheol was our 10th peak in Alberta of 2020. We didn't check the route's grade so carried some emnergency gears, just in case. An alpine rack with 8.0mm 20m and 15m cord was put to good use.

Rapelling off some brush on a cliff. Hope it is healthy and holds the weight.

One more rappel off a rock pile.
