2019.7.28 Mt. Carthew (climbed 2015.07.02) as seen from the summit of Bertha Peak. Mt. Carthew is now closed to public with many other peaks in Akamina Parkway corridor.

Simple heap belay with short static 7.0mm emergency cord protects well small-fall-factor falls on low-angle rock.

2019.8.1 Mount Bosworth, Yoho National Park, BC

We wanted to climb something without much scree, so dropped original plan to climb Mt. Weed (~400m scree), and picked this one without doing much research. So we got 1 vertical km of horrible scree we never seen before plus bushwack as a bonus and super loose rock on the summit block. Weird thing is that we both liked it.

CCS at the summit of Mt. Bosworth. Summit register had only 1-3 records per year. We were the first for 2019.
